Karisa You
President
Karisa is a 2L who graduated from UCLA with a BA in International Development Studies and a minor in Religion. She is pursuing a career in public service and is passionate about homeless outreach and children's rights. She loves baked potatoes, watching chick-flicks, and all things pink. Char Smith
Char Smith is a 3L who attended college at Arizona State University where she earned a BS in Political Science and a minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Her career interests include constitutional and election-focused litigation, which she will practice at a large firm in Phoenix, Arizona after graduation. Outside of law school, Char loves to engage in philosophical and political debate, golf, water skiing, and snow skiing.

Eric Nimmo
Eric is a 2L who graduated from Biola University in 2019 with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Biblical and Theological Studies. Prior to attending Biola, Eric served as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army from 2012-2016. He is pursuing a career in corporate and real estate transactional work. He loves spending time with his wife Grace and racing triathlons. He is also a longsuffering Angels baseball fan.

God is the true head of our fellowship, as we strive to seek Him first in everything we do. He is our source of happiness and peace - an anchor of hope - in the chaos of law school and has made all of this possible at Gould. We believe that, when God directs this fellowship, we can plan with the ultimate encouragement and joy, as He holds everything in His hands. He has loved us without fail and inspired us to want to love others in the same way. We give Him the credit and glory for every idea, event, leader, and aspect of this ministry.

I’m Jerry, and I have the privilege of serving Gould Christian Fellowship and USC graduate students as a whole as the InterVarsity Staff Minister. My role is to support and guide student based leadership, pastorally counsel students, and help integrate the world’s needs, student profession and passion, and the loving heart of God. I look forward to meeting you!
